Annual Voice of Democracy, Patriot’s Pen Essays open for submissions

The Post 2590 and Auxiliary are offering the Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen Essays.

The Voice of Democracy is for students in 9th grade thru 12th grade, Its Theme this year is
“Is America Today Our Forefathers’ Vision?” These will be due by October 31,2024.

The Patriot’s Pen is for students in 6th thru 8th grades. Its Theme this year is
“My Voice in America’s Democracy?” These will be due by October 31,2024.

Any student from public school, Private school, home school, students are eligible. The applications for these have been taken to local schools, and sent by e-mail to the
high school counselors. Or you can contact the following persons.

Awards will be given after the judging of all the essays.

There are also applications available to nominate your favorite teacher for a National Citizenship Education Teacher Award for grades K-12.
