A Carthage teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident 10:56 a.m. Monday on Route HH one mile east of Carterville.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a 16-year-old Carthage girl began to slide on the icy roadway, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree and a fence.
The girl was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Carthage.
