Each week, we receive several calls about upcoming events. It usually sounds a bit like this; “Hey can you tell me about the car show/stamp and coin show/auction, etc. that’s coming up?” We try to keep knowledgeable about town goings on but if you don’t currently send us your info., it would be REALLY helpful! Just looking at the end of March and the month of April and the myriad things on tap for the great outdoors of our beautiful town that we DO know about gets me excited.

The Drive In opens THIS FRIDAY the 22nd!!!! It’s open Friday-Sunday throughout the summer. Make sure to pack a jacket and some blankets. It’s still pretty cool when the sun goes down this time of year. Tuesday the 26th the Chamber of Commerce will host a Candidate Forum for City Council and School board candidates. Elusive Body Arts will celebrate their new location March 27th at Noon with a ribbon cutting and drop by the Chamber the next day at 10 to celebrate new business My Security Company with a ribbon cutting. On the 11th, Carthage Eye Care will be debuting their office remodel with a ribbon cutting featuring their expanded space.

Who’s ready for farm fresh veggies? You’re in luck, the Farmer’s Market is open Wednesday and Saturday mornings 7 AM until it’s all gone. The Carthage Farmer’s Market is your chance to eat local and support local! The very popular Foodtruck Friday awakens from its winter slumber this month.
