A Case Study Using Geographic Information Systems: “Where is Robert Ross Buried?” (Program)

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) store, organize, and display geographic data and can be useful for genealogists. In this session, Jason Ross will illustrate how to leverage the power of GIS to conceptualize genealogy data that contain geographic characteristics (i.e., deeds, land grants, cemetery locations, etc.) to help answer research questions.
