Raymond Lemoyne Pollard, 73, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Thursday morning, December 3, 2020, at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, Missouri.
Raymond was born April 5, 1947, in Carthage, Missouri to Bessie Pollard. Raymond married the love of his life, Priscilla Irvin, on August 3, 1978, in Carthage. Raymond worked on cars and mowers, enjoyed yard work, and loved spending time tinkering on things.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Priscilla; a sister-in-law, Karen Davis (Ronald), Carthage; a niece, Melinda Owings (Jimmie); nephews, Ray Doty, Dale Doty, Timmy Doty, Randy Doty, and Steven Johnson; great-niece and great-nephew, Megan Pi-ga, and Travis Garrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a niece, Katherine Desourdy.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. Inurnment will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery, Carthage.
