Carthage residents injured in crash on Zora

Two Carthage residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 2:55 p.m. Friday on Zora Street a half mile north of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Dodge Caravan driven by a 39-year-old Carthage woman swerved to the right to avoid a dog in the roadway and traveled off the right side the road and into a creek.

The driver and a passenger, a 48-year-old Carthage man, were treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin.
