JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Agriculture Grain Regulatory Services Program (MDA-GRS) has been appointed Trustee and Receiver of Maneval, Inc., a grain dealer and warehouse agent in Jasper, Mo.
Receivership was acquired following the results of an audit of the facility that began July 23, 2024. Based on financial information received through the audit, the Missouri Attorney General’s office petitioned the Jasper County Circuit Court to appoint MDA-GRS as trustee and receiver of the grain dealer. The Jasper County Circuit Court judge granted the order effective July 30, 2024.
Affected producers should receive a claim form from the Missouri Department of Agriculture. Producers should provide supporting documentation when filing a claim.
Claims will be accepted by the MDA-GRS team from Aug. 19, 2024 to Sept. 20, 2024.
- The MDA-GRS program will accept grain claims on Aug. 19, 20 and 21 at the University of Missouri Extension Barton County office from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. MDA employees will be available onsite to assist producers in completing the grain claim form.

A public hearing will be held after the claim period is closed and all claims have been reviewed to determine the payout of all claims. Interested parties will be notified of the hearing date when it has been determined.
