MAYETTA, Kan. — The Missouri Southern women’s golf team finished tenth overall today at the 2019 MIAA Women’s Golf Championships hosted at Firekeeper Golf Course.
Kylie Carnes led the way for the Lions, shooting a final-round 78 today to finish 36th at 249. Maggie Moore was tied for 41st with a three-day 261, while Elizabeth Poe was 47th at 314. Taylor Boyett finished 49th at 320.
Northeastern State won the team title with a three-day total of 902, finishing three strokes up on Central Missouri. Central Oklahoma was third, followed by Missouri Western, Northwest Missouri, Nebraska-Kearney, Lindenwood, Fort Hays State, Southwest Baptist and the Lions.
