JOPLIN, Mo. — The Lady Tigers got hot in the second half to come from behind and beat the Joplin Eagles 44-36 on their home court Tuesday.
Junior Lauren Choate led the Tigers with 13 points, including a first quarter 3-pointer.
Junior Maggie Boyd added 10 points, all during the second half. Junior Jaidyn Brunnert finished with 9 points, all from the 3-point arc. Junior Ashlyn Brust added 7 points, while senior Trisha Kanas and freshman Kylinn Stonebraker added 3 and 2 respectively.

Carthage moves to 6-7 on the season and 1-0 in the Central Ozark Conference. The Tigers travel to Ozark Thursday.
