As a kid, teen, and honestly a twentysomething, I’ve harbored a weird love for Say Yes to the Dress. you know how it is, you’re a little kid you start playing wedding with your dolls and then you’re binge watching SYTTD on TLC with a pint of Halo Top in your lap and calling it character development. So naturally I’ve been very disappointed with my lack of actual wedding dress shopping (the lack of the wedding is fine I just look good in white you know) but I have ended up with a ton of wedding guest outfit expertise…

1) The Bouquet Wrap Dress
I cannot stress this enough, this Lost and Wander dress fits like a dream. The way it’s structured it creates the perfect silhouette. The pattern is a total showstopper with the tiny white dots and large bouquet flowers. Dress it up for weddings, graduation or Easter or pair it with a jean jacket and sneakers for the ultimate cute day-date look.
2) Carnival Stripe Slip Dress
While you can wear it super formal for any spring or summer event, I LOVE the idea of dressing this way down. Cue the t-shirt knotted over it and some sneakers. I can see it at a fair or a summer barbecue so easily. You’ll have everyone stopping to compliment your skirt and then you get to excitedly say “it’s a dress!!” Knotting the tee at the waist also adds more shape to the dress if you want to show off your waist, it may also make the dress a wee bit shorter depending on how tight the knot is so you can also use to make your legs look super model long!
3) The thoughts of summer midi dress
Mixing it up from our usual style in this midi dress. it’s g o r g e o u s. The layered floral overlay makes it the perfect dress for the next wedding on your calendar or pair it with cowboy boots for that country concert you’ve got coming up… it’s light enough to wear for those outdoor events while being perfect to wear inside without freezing your hiney off. The off the shoulder bardot neckline is everything, it’d be perfect for a low curled pony to show off the dress!
4) The southern belle babydoll dress
Alright this dress is one of my all time favorite dresses we’ve ever gotten. The babydoll style is the IT look this season. This little number comes in 5 different styles. Two with stripes, grey + white or pastel blues and pinky corals then it comes in yellow, blue and a solid cream. The solid cream would be such a cute rehearsal dinner or bridal shower dress. This is another one that would be so easy to dress down with flats and a jacket! Both this and the raven are dresses that make you want to dance around when you put them on. They’re airy and make you want to twirl around to your favorite song.

5) The sing spring button maxi
Alright this dress is about to be the most versatile dress in your closet no excuses. Look one: wedding ready – curled hair, cute earrings, some dainty necklaces, this dress, a wedge or nude heel…
Look two: Concert time – grab your favorite tank, cutoff denim shorts, cowboy boots and unbutton this dress all the way and wear it as an overlay for a country concert look…
Look three: Farmers market – slip on your high waisted jeans, cute comfortable platforms (personally endorsing the matisse runaways with this one), a graphic tee or basic tank, a wide brimmed hat and keep this ready as an overlay for an extra boho touch…
Look four: A day out with your girls – grab your jean jacket, keep this as a dress and some cute sneakers and you’re ready to shop the day away…

6) The bliss dress
Bliss is right!! This smocked dress is the ultimate Easter/wedding guest dress. It’s bandage/bodycon style with ruched detailing all over to make it a bit more flattering. I slid this one on and it’s so gorgeous, the ruched detail hides any insecurities you could have about any part of your body. This one looks so cute with the leopard Runaway platforms we just restocked too, we love pattern mixing over here!
