Did you know that the artCentral galleries in Hyde House belong to you? Yes, artCentral’s benefactress Katherine Hyde, with her heart for art, bequeathed her family home to all the citizens of Carthage—you and me—all of us!

I do believe Katherine Hyde would be so proud to see this year’s season premiere exhibition—VERDANT—presented by artCentral and the Joplin Regional Artists Coalition generously underwritten by the Palms Massage and Day Spa and Cherry’s Custom Framing and Art Gallery.

Throughout the Hyde House galleries VERDANT will be on view February 4 through March 12, 2022, with the Opening Reception on Friday, February 4, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at 1110 East Thirteenth Street in Carthage. Following the Opening the Weekend Gallery Hours will be Fridays and Saturdays, 12:00-5:00 p.m., with members of artCentral and JRAC serving as gallery docents to greet you.
