Virginia Rose Honey, 86 passed away July 8, 2020, at St. Luke’s Nursing Home Carthage Missouri.

Virginia was born January 24, 1934, in Avilla Missouri to Elmer LeMasters and Mary Rose LeMasters. She was a lifetime Jasper County resident and owned and operated a family farm with her husband Earl G. Honey. She served as a Jasper County election judge and was a member of the Sheep Shed in Joplin.

Virginia was united in marriage to Earl G. Honey; he preceded her in death in 1977.

Virginia is survived by two sons; Earl Honey of Stark City, MO and Bob Honey of Oronogo, MO, three grandchildren Eric Honey, David Honey and Taylor Honey, one brother Lloyd LeMasters and wife Angela of Oronogo, MO.

Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one son Jerry Wayne Honey, one sister Dorothy Frost and one brother Roger LeMasters.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2020, at Weaver Cemetery in Oronogo, MO. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2020, at Ulmer Funeral Home. Contributions can be made to the Sheep Shed or Weaver Cemetery in Care of Ulmer Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
