Vera Louise Shepard, 94 of Bloomingdale, IL formerly of Boonville, MO and Carthage, MO. Beloved wife of the late Donald E. Shepard. Loving mother of Judi (Drew) Yaeger and the late Paul/Alix Kasdorf. Dearest grandmother of Rebecca and Sarah Yaeger of Chicago, IL, Clinton H. Loman of Denver, CO., James Harris of Seattle, WA and Amber Dickey of Joplin, MO. Great-grandmother of Justin and Molly Loman, Jordyn Dickey and Gracie Harris.
Vera led a very fruitful life as a devoted wife for 65 years to the late Donald, as well as a very successful leader and professional in the business world. She was the treasurer of the American Business Womens Association, Peace Star Chapter, and retired from Southwest Agency in Carthage, MO where she was a business manager. She lived a strong life in faith, and was a member of Carthage Presbyterian Church in Carthage, MO before moving to Chicago in 2012.
Private services and interment at Engelwood Cemetery in Clinton, MO.
