Terri Phillips, 63, passed away 7:25 a.m., Monday, August 9, 2021, in Joplin, Missouri. Terri was born September 25, 1957 in Pittsburg, Kansas to Charles Benford Johnson and Patricia “Brown” Johnson. Terri was a longtime resident of Webb City and Carl Junction, Missouri. She worked at Carl Junctions Schools and was an ambassador for Plexus.
Terri was united in marriage to Michael Phillips, July 8, 1978, in Carl Junction, Missouri; he survives.
Terri is survived by her husband, Michael Phillips, Carl Junction, Missouri; one son, Chad Phillips, Carl Junction, Missouri; one daughter, Amber Phillips, Carl Junction; and one sister, Tammy Leiban, Lamar, Missouri.
Terri is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Patricia Johnson; and one brother, Charles Benford Johnson, Jr.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Prairie Flower Church, Webb City, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2021 at Ulmer Funeral Home, Carthage, Missouri. Burial will be at Crocker Cemetery, Pittsburg, Kansas.
