Ricky A. Patrick, 61 of Joplin, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at his home. Ricky was born on December 13, 1959 to Carl E. Patrick and Verna Harriette “McNary” Patrick. Ricky was born and raised in Carthage, Missouri then later relocated to Joplin in 1999. He was employed at LKQ Four-States as a plant manager. He spent all of his free time with his grandsons Nixon and Nacoby.
Ricky was united in marriage to Laurie A. Wright on November 24, 1978 in Carthage, Missouri; she survives.
Ricky is survived by his wife Laurie Patrick; one daughter, Navon Cook and husband Nathan of Joplin; two grandsons Nixon and Nacoby Cook; his father Carl Patrick; three brothers Randall Patrick and wife Cathy of Sarcoxie, Monte Patrick and wife Cindy of Republic, and Harlan Patrick and wife Annetta of Carthage; one sister Sherrie Lasiter and husband Gene of Carthage; three sisters in law Annette Wright, Jennifer Lynn Wright, and Sherry Wright; two brothers in law Mike Wright, and Kevin Davis; and 27 nieces and nephews.
Ricky is preceded in death by his mother Verna “Harriette” Patrick (McNary).
A memorial service is scheduled for Ricky at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Ulmer Funeral Home.
