Peggy L. Rose, 72, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Carthage Health and Rehab. Peggy was born in Carthage, Missouri on May 29, 1950 to Donald Rich and Irene (Riddle) Rich. She was a lifetime Carthage area resident. She was a mother and homemaker first and then went on to work for Burger King for over 20 years.
Peggy was united in marriage to Donald Rose on August 31, 1968 in Carthage, Missouri; he preceded her in death on February 15, 2021.
She is survived by two sisters, Joyce Hill and husband, David of Joplin, Missouri and Connie Crank of Carthage, Missouri; and one nephew, Brian Hill and wife, Cherie of Joplin, Missouri; as well as several other nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband, Donald Rose, Peggy is preceded in death by one son, Steven Ray Rose (June 1979); her parents, Donald and Irene Rich; and one brother, Gene Rich.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Carthage, Missouri. A visitation will be held prior to the graveside service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Ulmer Funeral Home.
