Patrick “Pat” E. Golay, 76, passed away in Joplin, Missouri on Thursday, June 13, 2024. Pat was born August 7, 1947, in Fredonia, Kansas to George and Betty (Dill) Golay. He was a longtime resident of Carthage, Missouri. Pat worked in sales at KSN television station, then owned and operated Land-Go Broadcasting. Most recently, he owned and operated 360 Mortgage Company. Pat completed two terms as the Carthage Little League Association president.
Pat was united in marriage to Linda Bowers on July 25, 1966; she preceded him in death on August 12, 2020.
Pat is survived by a son, Brad Golay (Krystel) of Carthage, Missouri; a daughter, Shelli Golay Ford of Joplin, Missouri; four grandchildren, Kyleigh Adams, Seth Golay, Taylar Demery, and Dalton Ford; and nine great grandchildren, Brantley, Beckett, Korbin, Culter, Abel, Nash, Colt, Leah, and Presley.
Pat is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Golay; his parents, George and Betty Golay; and his brother, Mike Golay.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
