Michael Lloyd Wells Jr., born on August 2, 1978, in Joplin, MO, peacefully passed away on June 7, 2024, in Carthage, MO with his family by his side. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and proud grandfather.
Michael’s greatest joy in life was his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He cherished every moment spent with them and always made sure they felt loved and supported. Michael and Ashley married on June 13, 1998 and then had their daughter, Aspen, and their son, Gage. His children brought immense happiness to his life.
Michael is survived by his daughter Aspen (Dane Smith), his son Gage (Allison Duke), two grandchildren, Macy and Indy Smith, his father, Michael Lloyd Wells Sr., his mother, Sherry Ann Wells, and his brothers Devin Wells (Melissa), Charlie Wells, Joey Wells, and Timmy Wells, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Michael Lloyd Wells Jr. will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his kind heart, and his bear hugs. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He will be cremated with a service following at Bykota Church in Carthage, MO at 2:00 pm Saturday June 15, 2024.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
