Mary Jo Hudson, 94, of Frontenac, KS, died on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, KS.
She was born December 12, 1927 in Pittsburg, KS, the daughter of Clarence Leon and Florence H. (Nichols) Pittser.
On June 25, 1977 she married Billy E. Hudson, he preceded her in death on August 24, 1990.
Mary was a Line worker for L.D Schreiber Foods Inc for 26 years, she retired in 1991. She was of the Lutheran faith and enjoyed fishing, wood working, cooking and hosting family picnics.
She is survived by her four children; Penny Shead and husband Peter of Australia, Pamela Troxel and husband Bill of Liberty, MO, Douglas Hudson of Galena, KS, Patricia Hudson of Frontenac, KS, five grandchildren; John Hudson of Australia, Miles Troxel of Liberty, MO, Melissa Hudson of Grandview, MO, Tanya Taylor of Pittsburg, KS, Joey Pearce and wife Star of Weir, KS and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Harry Pittser.
The family would like to extend a tremendous thank you to Melissa Hudson for the comfort and care she provided her grandmother.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
