Linda Sue Barcus, age 59, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022, at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, Missouri. She was born on September 16, 1962, in Pasadena, California the daughter of Melvin Barcus. She was a 1982 graduate of Carthage High School. Linda worked as a CMA for over 40 years at different nursing homes and hospitals in the area; most recently at Carl Junction Residential Care. She was a member of the Faith Life Worship Center of Carthage, and the Women of Destiny Connection Bible Study Group. Linda loved her church, spending time with her friends, spreading the gospel, and had a gracious heart giving to someone every chance she had.
Survivors include her church family, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin A. Barcus.
