Kimberly Ann Cole, 56, passed away Tuesday September 21, 2021 after a long illness. Kim was born February 20, 1965 in Carthage, Missouri to Ron and Sandra “Wheeler” Cole. She graduated from Carthage High School in 1983. Soon after, Kim moved to Joplin and had been a resident for the last 35 years. She worked at Pump N Pantry in Diamond for 25 years and Spirit 66 Food Mart in Joplin for several years until she was unable to work any longer due to her illness. Kim was a social butterfly. Therefore, she so enjoyed serving the public and knew all of her customers well. When Kim wasn’t working, she loved spending time with her family and friends, along with her cat, Mila. Although, she didn’t attend church, she would often watch the online service at BYKOTA Church in Carthage.
Kim is survived by daughter, Ashley Cole of Joplin; her mother Sandra Cole of Carthage; a sister Melissa McClure (Mike) of Joplin; one brother, Bryan Cole (Sandra) of Carthage; seven nieces and nephews, Courtney(Luke), Ryan(Kelcie), Hayden, Tyler, Kylie(Mickey), Lilia(Mark), Nancy, and eight great nieces and nephews. Several aunts and numerous cousins. Along with several members of the Robinson Family. She is preceded in death by her soulmate, Steve Robinson; her father, Ron Cole; her brother, Brad Cole; seven uncles, Chuck, Richard, Larry and John Cole; Leroy, Rex and Dwain Wheeler; two aunts, Alice Kost and Sherry Burlingame.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
