Jimmie Lee Clark, 71, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Tuesday evening, January 10, 2023, at his home. Jimmie was born April 3, 1951, in Ashland, Kansas, the son of Jimmie Clark and Phyllis (McConnell) Clark. Jimmie went to high school in Oklahoma. He married Peggy Jean Wilkins on August 6, 1971; she preceded him in death on February 13, 2009. Jimmie was a jack of all trades, but mainly worked as a plumber. He loved his family very much and will be missed by many.
Survivors include his mother, Phyllis Clark; two daughters, Diana Avery (Robert), Carthage, and Caroyl Frye (Roger), Miami, Oklahoma; two sons, Timothy James Clark of California, and Clint Kilpatrick, Anadarko, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Clark; five brothers, Robert Clark, Dennis Clark, David Clark, Jonathan Clark, and Phillip Clark; and two sisters, Pamela Dickey, and Paula Renee McCoy.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Carterville Cemetery, Carterville, Missouri. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com. Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Knell Mortuary.
