Janet K. Wright, 64, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024. Janet was born on December 29, 1959, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Dr. Robert and Betty Saylor. She was a lifetime Jasper County Resident. She attended Faith Tabernacle in Joplin. She was a computer software programmer for Leggett and Platt for 26 years. Janet loved her family and her dogs. She really enjoyed gardening, cooking, and canning.
Janet was united in marriage to Mark Wright in 1980 at Faith Tabernacle in Joplin; he preceded her in death on April 23, 2023.
She is survived by one son, Nathan Wright of Joplin; one granddaughter, Micah Wright; one brother, Gary Saylor and wife Melody of Ferdinand, Indiana; and her fur companions, Emmy, Cali, Max, and Layla.
Janet was preceded in death by her son, Cory Wright.
The memorial service for Janet will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Three Points Church in Carthage, Missouri.
