Hal Dennis Heisten, 68, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 27, 2020 at his home.
Hal was born June 28, 1951 in Carthage, Missouri, the son of Victor Harold Heisten and Darelene A. (Deitz) Heisten. He was a 1969 graduate of Carthage High School. Hal worked in maintenance at Atlas Powder Company and D&D Sexton in Carthage. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, enjoyed gardening, but most of all, loved spending time with his grandkids.
Survivors include his mother, Darelene A. Heisten; a daughter, Jill St. John (Sam), Parker, Colorado; a son, Jacob Heisten (Rachel), Seneca, Missouri; a brother, Randy Heisten (Sally), El Dorado Springs, Missouri; and five grandchildren, June Heisten, Leo Heisten, Georgia Heisten, Opal Heisten, and Jackson St. John.
He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Heisten; and two brothers, Brad Heisten and William “Tris” Heisten.
