Glena Mae Harvey, 73, Carthage, MO, passed away Friday evening, September 14, 2018 at Mercy Hospital, Carthage, MO. Glena Mae Royer was born April 20, 1945 in Carthage, MO to the late Glen H. Royer and Mary (Buchanan) Royer. She graduated from Seaside High School, Monterey, CA, Class of 1963. Glena married Paul Harvey, Jr. on July 1, 1967 in Carthage, MO; he survives. Glena was a member of the Carl Junction Alumni Association and the Four State Chapter of M.O.A.A. She enjoyed quilting and was involved with Scouts.
Survivors include her husband, Paul, one daughter, Christina M. Bell (David), Murrieta, CA; two sons, Paul Harvey (Donna), Culver City, CA, and Keith Harvey (Lyncca), Ft. Worth, TX; one brother, Aaron Royer; and three grandchildren, Ethan D. Bell, Brenna E. Bell, and Trent Harvey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one uncle, Cotton Buchanan.
Visitation will be held 6-8 pm, Friday, September 21, 2018 at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. Funeral services will be held 1 pm, Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Knell Mortuary. Minister Bob Simons will officiate. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorial gifts are suggested to American Cancer Society in care of Knell Mortuary.
