Frankie “Coleen” Anderson, 87, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Coleen was born on August 7, 1937, in Grove, Oklahoma, to Charlie and Necie Parris. She lived in Carthage for a very long time and worked at H.E. Williams for 40 years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Carthage Can- Do Senior Citizen Center.
Coleen was joined in marriage to Ray Anderson on December 19, 1956, in Miami, Oklahoma; he preceded her in death in 2008.
Coleen is survived by two sons, Ray Anderson (Debbie) and Marti Anderson, both of Carthage; one brother, Allen Parris of Stillwell, Oklahoma; one sister, Marie Rowley of Jay, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Ethan Anderson (Heather), Savannah Anderson (Zach), Joshua Anderson, Amy Anderson, and Elizabeth Ellis (Jace); great grandchildren, Gage and Aspen.
She was preceded in death by two brothers Lee Hobbs and Harvey Robert Parris.
There will be a funeral service for Coleen at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage, Missouri. A visitation will be held the previous night from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Ulmer Funeral Home. The burial will take place at Fasken Cemetery following the service.
