Frank “Frankie” Edward Halvorsen, Jr., 42, of Webb City, Missouri, died on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin.
Frankie was born on February 14, 1981, in Joplin, to Frank Edward Halvorsen and Charity Grace “Domich” Halvorsen. He worked in various machine shops in Joplin as a welder and machinist. He also enjoyed working in construction and with cattle. He liked to hunt deer, go fishing, spend time in the great outdoors, and ride bulls in the rodeo.
Frankie is survived by his parents, Frank and Charity Halvorsen; one sister Mercy Stevens of Alba; two nephews, Mason Halvorsen of Alba, and Dillon Smith of Girard, Kansas; and one niece, Kallie Maggard of Lamar.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jacob Daniel Halvorsen; January 13, 2022.
A service will be held for Frankie at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage, Missouri. There will be a visitation held the night before from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Ulmer Funeral Home. The burial will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery in Alba, Missouri.
