Daniel Leroy Maggard, 51, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Saturday afternoon, July 11, 2020.
Daniel was born February 21, 1969, in Carthage, Missouri the son of Donald Maggard and Thelma (Smith) Maggard. Daniel enjoyed playing pool, singing karaoke, working on cars, and being on the river or lake. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Survivors include his fiancée, Carol Criswell; children, Chelsea Atkinson and husband Sage, Carthage, Missouri, and Dustin Lackey and fiancée Justice Pullum; mother, Thelma Maggard; and grandchildren, Aleice Lucas, Aleigha Lucas, Korbin Lackey, and Rayna Lackey.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Maggard, and brother Douglas Maggard.
Memorial graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, July 16, 2020, at the Fullerton Cemetery Carthage, Missouri. The family suggests contributions to the Carthage V.F.W. in care of the Knell Mortuary.
