Claude Perry, of Carthage passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022. He was born November 24, 1952 in Carthage, the son of Frank and Nadine Perry. Claude was a photo journalist for the Carthage Press and the Neosho News. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam Era. Claude taught his grandchildren to skate and karaoke. He loved his truck and teaching his grandchildren to drive his truck and loved his Braum’s Ice Cream. Claude was a member of BYKOTA Church in Carthage.
Claude was united in marriage to Tammy Dent March 25, 2006 at BYKOTA Church. She survives.
Claude is also survived by 3 daughters, Amber LaFleur of Joplin, Tosha LaFleur of Joplin, and Samantha Janney (Paul) of Virginia. Eight grandchildren, Dawson, Kiesha, Mikah, Kaden, Kaylee, Caleb, Daisy and Lyrik. Claude was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Francisco and Marsha Tatumn.
Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the services. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ulmer Funeral Home.
