Brian Lee Jones, Carthage, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2024, at the age of 59 at his home. Born on April 19, 1965, in St. Louis, Missouri, Brian was a man whose presence was characterized by kindness and thoughtfulness throughout his life.
Brian was preceded in death by his father, T.L. Jones, and is survived by his loving mother, Sandy Jones, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, who will miss his warm spirit and considerate nature. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them, especially his dear cousins, with whom he shared countless memories.
Brian worked as a security guard until his retirement. Brian had a passion for reading. His love for literature was just one of the many ways he continued to learn and grow throughout his life.
Those who knew Brian will remember him for his ability to listen, his willingness to help, and his unwavering commitment to his loved ones. He lived a life of kindness that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Memorial services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Open Door Baptist Church. A private family inurnment will be held at Park Cemetery at a later date.
