Beverly Kay Capps, 75, Republic, Missouri formerly of Carthage, Missouri, passed away at her home.
Beverly was born in December 1944 in Carthage, the daughter of J. Dean Griffith and Audrey Lucille (Lambeth) Griffith. She was a 1962 graduate of Carthage High School. Beverly married Thomas Lee Capps on April 12, 1964 in Carthage. She worked in human resources at Black & Veatch in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a member of Parkview Christian Church, Sedalia, Missouri. Beverly enjoyed fishing, gardening, and reading, but most of all, loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin Capps, Republic, Missouri, and Kerry Capps (Kelly), Republic, Missouri; a granddaughter, Samantha Capps; a brother, Larry Griffith; a sister, Joan Garrett; and many extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tom; and a daughter-in-law, Karri Capps.
Memorial graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, June 25, 2020, at Park Cemetery, Carthage. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at Knell Mortuary, Carthage.
