Alejandro Isidro Salmeron-Chapin, known by all who loved him as Alex, passed away in a car accident Thursday, August 20, 2020.
He was born February 15, 2002, in Sedalia, MO, and is survived by his mother Joy Chapin; his father, Joseph (Red) Schletzbaum; and sister, Ariel Schletzbaum, along with both sets of grandparents, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Alex knew how to light up a room. He always entered one with love, laughter, and smiles. Alex had many accomplishments in his short lifetime, of which we are all proud. He had a special bond with his sister and uncles over their love of video games and fantasy fiction. Alex had such ambitious goals for his future. We will miss him each and every day.
Memorial services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2020 in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Chapel with Oak Yates, his grandfather, officiating. Services were under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
