A Carthage man sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident that happened around 1:47 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, on Grand Ave, one-half mile south of Carthage.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Curtis A. Pacettie, 50, Carthage was heading southbound when he lost control of a 2019 Dodge Charger, slid off the east side of the road and struck the ditch.
Pacettie, who was wearing his seatbelt, was transported to Mercy Hospital Joplin with moderate injuries. The vehicle was towed by the owner with extensive damage according to the report.
