Three Carthage residents injured in collision at Morgan Heights Road

Three Carthage residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident 1:35 p.m. Sunday on County Road 164 at Morgan Heights Road three miles west of Carthage.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2024 Toyota Tundra driven by Patricia L. Wammack, 68, Carthage, failed to yield and struck a 2014 Honda Ridgeline driven by Michael A. Davenport, 77, Carthage, causing the Davenport vehicle to hit a pole.

Davenport was treated for minor injuries and Wammack and a passenger in the Davenport vehicle, Laura C. Davenport, 74, Carthage, for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin.
