Owen Gray, a 2019 graduate of Diamond High School, has been selected to receive the Marlin and Jean Pinnell Annual Scholarship, administered by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.
Gray, the son of Bill and Jennifer Gray, will attend Pittsburg State University this fall, where he plans to pursue a degree in secondary education with an emphasis in history and communications.
“I was excited to find out that I had been chosen to receive the Marlin and Jean Pinnell Annual Scholarship,” said Gray. “This scholarship will help me to meet my goal of obtaining a degree in secondary education at Pitt State.”
The Marlin and Jean Pinnell Annual Scholarship Fund was established in 2015 to benefit Diamond High School graduating seniors seeking a degree in secondary education.
