Joplin, MO – EaglePicher® Technologies, a leading battery systems supplier for mission-critical applications across defense, aerospace and medical, announces the appointment of Richard Hunter as chief executive officer. Hunter most recently served as president of L3 Technologies – Defense Electronic Systems division, a global defense technology innovator.

Hunter spent over 20 years in the aerospace and defense industries including over a decade in senior leadership roles covering fuzing and ordnance. He has supplied critical components to military and aerospace customers while working closely with defense primes.

Hunter holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
