On Monday, the Market Kitchen hosts a training session on its equipment from 6 to 8 pm. The Kitchen, operated by the Webb City Farmers Market, is located at 106 East Tracy Street in Webb City.
Attendees will receive basic instruction on what the various pieces of equipment can do and how to operate and clean them. Commercial equipment to be covered includes the kitchen’s dehydrat or, freeze dryer, robo coupe food processor, vacuum sealer, blast chiller/shock freezer, tilt skillet, steam kettle, and convection ovens. The session is free and open to the public.
The Market Kitchen is available for rent 24/7 by individuals and businesses to prepare food for public or private consumption. The Kitchen is inspected by the Jasper County Health Department. For more information contact the kitchen manager at 417 674-1681.
