Carthage Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Announces New Church Leaders

CARTHAGE, Mo. – The Carthage Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is now being led by Bishop Neil Adams with Nick Geeding as 1st Counselor, and Benjamin Pulsipher as 2nd Counselor.

Bishop Adams works construction and has lived in the area for eight years.  He spent his childhood years in Texas and Georgia. After marrying his wife, Rachel Hale, they lived in Parsons, Kansas and from Parsons to Carthage. They have five children. Their oldest is doing a service mission for The Church with Crosslines.

Bishop Adams revealed his main goal of “building a stronger ward feeling of unity and connectedness through the pure love of Jesus Christ, especially among the youth.”

Nick Geeding, who speaks Spanish, works for Leggett & Platt and moved to the area from Boliver two and a half years ago. However, the area is not new to him. He is just returning to where he grew up. He and his wife Erin have one daughter.

Benjamin Pulsipher moved to Reeds from the Stockton area one year ago to manage a dairy herd. He and his wife, Andrea, have six children.
