Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale is September 11-15, 2024, Springfield, MO!
Stock up on winter boredom busters by finding the perfect book this fall and winter. The Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale features new and used hardback and paperback books, CDs, movies, vinyl records, audiobooks, games and puzzles. Adult, young adult and children’s books and most audiovisuals are $1 or less; better books are priced $2 and up.
The sale is Wednesday, September 11, through Sunday, September 15, at the E*Plex, Ozark Empire Fairgrounds, 3001 N. Grant Ave.
Hours are Wednesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Saturday, Half-Price Day, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Sunday, Bag Day, 1-5 p.m., when everything you can jam in a sack is only $1, or $5 from better books. The Friends accept cash or check only, and parking is free.
Get in on the bargains early! The Friends Night Preview Sale is Tuesday, September 10, 4-8 p.m. Friends members admitted free; or pay $5 at the door to shop and turn that into a Friends membership at no extra cost.
