Dennis Lee “Troll” Warden, 76, Carthage, Missouri, passed away early Friday morning, July 17, 2020, at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, Missouri.
Troll was born November 21, 1943, in Joplin, Missouri; the son of Glenn Leroy Warden and Irene Velma (McRae) Warden. He was a 1961 graduate of Hayward High School in Fremont, California. While living in California, he worked as a dog catcher in Fremont. Troll also worked as a forklift operator for H.E. Williams in Carthage. After losing his father during WWII, that sparked his interest to become a history buff about WWII. He enjoyed politics, guns, trains, and most of all, watching his grandchildren play baseball.
Survivors include two adopted sons, William “Sean” Putt and wife Tabitha, and Luke Carroll; two grandsons, Tanner Putt and Lucas Carroll; one granddaughter, Haylee Long; and two best buddies, Clinton Smith and Jim Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
