Marolyn “Anne” Beaver, 77 passed away at her home April 20, 2020.
Anne was born Oct. 21, 1942, in Jane, Mo., to William “Jess” Nichols and Mary “Allman” Nichols. Anne was an insurance agent for over 20 years with American Family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Diamond. Anne volunteered for Integrity Joplin and was a Diamond school lunch counter and loved the kids.
Anne was united in marriage to Ralph Beaver June 19, 1995, in Joplin, Mo. He survives.
Anne is survived by four sons; Stephen Bergen, Eric Bergen, Matthew Bergen and Collin Bergen, 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, one brother Jake Nichols.
Anne is preceded in death by her parents, six sisters Cleva, Katherine, Grace, Lola, Elva, Jane and Lena, four brothers; Nolan, Noman, Norman, and Leonard.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2020, at Emmanuel Cemetery southeast of Carthage. Visitation will be a come and go due to COVID-19 it will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Ulmer Funeral Home Thursday, April 23, 2020. Contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church of Diamond in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
