Steve Chentnik formally announces his candidacy for US Congress, representing Missouri’s 7th district. Mr. Chentnik filed his candidacy as a Republican in Jefferson City on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020. Chentnik will oppose incumbent Bill Long.
“The people of District 7 have long felt it is time for a change, time to be heard,” Chentnik said in a press release.
According to the release, Chentnik states he is a better alternative and the person that can best represent the people of SW Missouri after 8 years of the current incumbent. He is a strong supporter of many conservative issues and will fight to ensure these rights are never taken away.
