Maple Leaf Toddler Pageant crowns Stebbins, Lawson

2019 Maple Leaf Toddler Pageant overall winners; Ellie Stebbins, daughter of Justin and Lori Stebbins; and Archer Lawson, son of Stephanie Lawson and Kyle Lawson.

Ellie Stebbins, daughter of Justin and Lori Stebbins, was crowned the winner of the Maple Leaf Toddler Pageant in the girls’ category at the Carthage R-9 Auditorium on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Archer Lawson, son of Stephanie Lawson and Kyle Lawson, was the winner in the boys category. 

A total of 57 children, ages two years old to pre-kindergarten competed in the annual pageant in four different age categories.

The winners of the age categories were brought back to the stage for one final round of judging and the winners were crowned. 

The winners will ride in a float in the 53rd annual Maple Leaf Parade at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19. 

The parade runs from the Carthage Square, south on Grant Street and Grand Avenue to Centennial Avenue, then east to the Carthage Junior High School.
