Wanda Louise Hodson, age 90, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Thursday evening, April 25, 2019 at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, Missouri. Wanda Louise Martin was born August 26, 1928 in Wakita, Oklahoma to the late Beecher Martin and Audra (Waisner) Martin Thompson. Wanda married Oliver Tom Hodson on February 2, 1946 in Columbus, Kansas; he preceded her in death on December 23, 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Episcopal Church, Carthage, Missouri.
Survivors include one son, James Hodson and wife Linda of Carthage; one daughter, Johnna Collins and husband Mike of Carthage; four grandchildren, Shannon Collins, Heidi Gilligan, Holly Hodson and Jamie West; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one grandchild, Sean Collins.
Funeral arrangements and services are pending with Knell Mortuary.
