CCF host day of giving to support 14 Carthage nonprofit agencies
Tuesday, May 7 is Give Carthage Day! The event, hosted by Carthage Community Foundation (CCF) as a part of its 20th anniversary celebration, is a one-day online giving campaign to raise funds and awareness for 14 nonprofit organizations serving the Carthage community. Participating nonprofits will raise online donations from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 7 at givecarthage.org. In-person donations will also be accepted at Cherry’s Art Emporium on the Square, Give Carthage Headquarters for the day.

Making a secure donation of $5 or more to support your favorite charities is simple. On May 7, donors can visit givecarthage.org, log on & complete a basic credit-card donation. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the IRS. Giving online on May 7 gives the participating nonprofits a chance to earn additional matches and prizes to support their efforts.
CCF Board President Danny Lambeth explains, “CCF is pleased to provide our nonprofit agency partners with this platform to raise critical funds for the important work they do in our community.” CCF and the nonprofits will work together to rally the community to #GiveCarthage, and CCF and event sponsors will offer more than $16,000 in matches and prizes to help encourage community members to give to the nonprofits on May 7.
