Carthage woman injured in 3-vehicle accident on 96

A Carthage woman was injured in a three-vehicle accident 2:55 p.m. Monday on MO 96 eight-tenths of a mile east of Carthage.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Dodge 1500 driven by Steven D. Holder, 48, LaRussell, and a 2018 Ford Focus driven by Addison M. Nichols, 19, Carthage, were slowing for a vehicle ahead that was making a left turn when a 2007 Toyota Camry driven by Michael Y. Rodas-Gomez, 26, Carthage, struck the rear of the Nichols vehicle, which struck the Holder vehicle.

Nichols was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Carthage.
