CARTHAGE, Mo. — Colten Banner Bourgeous, Carthage, son of Susan and Adam Bourgeous, is putting his secondary education on hold so he can serve a two year Idaho Pocatello Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints.
Colten graduated May 2024 from Carthage High School, where he participated in archery, marching band, Math League, and Projects Lead The Way. Projects Lead The Way is where students create new or improved medical devices.
When asked why he was going, Colten replied, “I want others to feel the joy that I have.”
