Ruth I. Kolpin Spring Grants Round Opens March 18

CARTHAGE, Mo. — The Ruth I. Kolpin Donor Advised Fund begins accepting applications for its spring grant round on Monday, March 18. Area 501(c)3 organizations and other IRS approved entities, such as civic, education or faith-based groups, serving the Greater Carthage area and Jasper and Newton counties are encouraged to apply. More than $110,000 will be granted in 2024.

Grant application may be found online http://www.cfozarks.org/applyforgrants. Funding priorities include: charitable, educational, religious, arts, historic preservation and scientific purposes. Grants received must be spent within one year of receipt. Recipients will be expected to provide a detailed follow-up report after one year. All applications must be completed and submitted online by 11:45 pm on April 11.

The Ruth I. Kolpin Family Donor Advised Fund, a fund of the Carthage Community Foundation, seeks to support agencies that improve the quality of life for individuals in the Greater Carthage area and Jasper and Newton counties through impactful grantmaking. Grant decisions are made by the fund’s advisory board.
