Steven Goodman, 79, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023. Steven was born June 27, 1944, in Berwyn, Illinois, to Earl Goodman and Eva Plummer. Steven was a master cabinet builder. He owned and operated Steve Goodman Cabinet Shop for many years. Steven was an avid Nascar fan and loved rebuilding Mopars. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Carthage.
Steven was united in marriage to Betty E. Jones in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1986; she survives.
Steven is survived by his wife, Betty Goodman; three sons, Steven Curtis Goodman (Anne) of Carthage, Missouri, John David Goodman of Carthage, Missouri, and Richard Eric Swindle (Kim) of York, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Bettina Dawn (Swindle) Hoeft of Gulf Breeze, Florida; two brothers, Robert Goodman (Connie) and Mark Goodman (Dixie), both of Carthage, Missouri; eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
Steven is preceded by his parents, Earl and Eva Goodman.
Private services will be at a later date.
