CARTHAGE, Mo. — An upcoming event will provide an array of unique and beautiful Christmas gift ideas while shoppers can support local artists and get ahead of the holiday rush.
The grand opening for artCentral’s Holiday Boutique will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Hyde House, 1110 E. 13th St. Liberations and hor d’oeuvres will be served as guests enjoy “Small Works, Great Wonders” silent auction exhibit. The bidding for the silent auction will close Dec. 9.
“Come take home fabulous originals – this silent auction is a great opportunity to support our community’s artists and artCentral,” said Alexandra Burnside, president of the board of directors for artCentral. “We are fortunate to have generous member artists who’ve created 5×7 artworks of various mediums. Their work helps support artCentral by inspiring holiday guests at Hyde House to bid and win.”
There is never a loss for variety when it comes to art at the recently renovated-Hyde House. Viewers and shoppers will also see jewelry, ornaments and pottery – all provided by local artists from across the region. Art lovers can come enjoy artCentral Tuesday-Saturday noon-5 p.m.
